The team manages gastrointestinal issues in both elective and emergency basis. Having laparoscopy as the key master approach, it makes surgery less invasive, less painful in the post operative period with quick rehabilitation.

Emergencies including intestinal perforation, intestinal obstruction, acute appendicitis, acute cholecystitis ( gall bladder) are managed 24×7 aptly.

Electives which include hernia ( inguinal, incisional and femoral ), tumour of stomach and intestines, adhesions and sub acute obstruction, piles, fissure in anus are managed by both laparoscopy and open techniques.

Working as a team with the medical gastroenterology and radiology departments-  give exceptional co ordinated care to the patients.
