Dr. Vadivel.S have completed his undergraduate, post graduate and super speciality in reputed government medical colleges in Tamil Nadu. During his graduation, he had distinction in many subjects and was best outgoing student in the department of general medicine.

He had presented several papers in national and international conferences. After his super speciality, he had his special interest in stroke and neuro intervention. His main focus is to improve the quality of life in stroke patients.For this he did his fellowship in stroke and interventional neurology. He is one among the few interventional neurologists in India.

He have worked extensively in dedicated stroke intensive care unit setting and holds special interest in management of acute stroke and critically ill patients requiring intensive neurological care.His areas of special interest includes stroke diagnosis and management with intravenous thrombolysis,mechanical thrombectomy and stroke rehabilitation.

He got specialized in Neuro interventional procedures like Diagnostic cerebral angiogram, Mechanical thrombectomy, Intracranial angioplasty, Coiling and Intra arterial vasodilator therapy for Sub Arachnoid hemorrhage.

He plays a crucial role in the diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of the most common old age disorders like Alzheimers and Vascular dementia by clinical experience in advanced cognitive neurology.

Other areas of interest include Epilepsy, Headache, Demyelinating disorders of Central nervous system includes optic neuritis, NMO spectrum disorders and Multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, Meningitis, Encephalitis and Neuromuscular disorders.

Dr.Vadivel.S holds life membership of various prestigious organisations like Indian Academy of Neurology, Indian Stroke Association, Society of Neurovascular Intervention, Indian Epilepsy Association, RSSDI and Indian Medical Association.
